Deep groove ball bearing is the most commonly used rolling bearing. Its structure is simple and it is easy to use. It is mainly used for the radial load, but increasing the radial bearing clearance, it will withstand the radial and axial load and like the angular contact ball bearing in some sense. It can be carried the pure axial load in the high speed and thrust ball bearing can not be used. Compared to other same size bearing types, this bearing has small friction coefficient and high limit speed.
After the deep groove ball bearing is installed on the shaft, because it can limit axis or shell directional axial displacement in the axial clearance of bearing, so it can have a position in the two directions. Besides, this bearing also have spherical capacity. It can also work normally when there have a tilt 2 to 10 compared to the shell hole, but which will have some effect to the life of bearing.
