Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are separated-bearing, which can only bear a one-way axial load and minor impact, to limit the axial displacement of axis (or shell) in one direction. It can be used as one-way axial positioning. But its capacity is far greater than thrust ball bearings. When rollers roll, roller ends have different line speed, so it inevitably produce sliding in the ring road, therefore, speed limit of such bearing is lower than the thrust ball bearings, usually applying only to low-speed operation of occasions.

Standard designed thrust cylindrical roller bearings use car system entities metal cage. According to user requirements, we can also use another type of material or Cage.

Thrust Tapered Roller Bearings bear only a one-way axial load, and can restrain single-way axial displacement, so it can be used as one-way axial positioning. Comparing to thrust and cylindrical roller bearings, it has big carrying capacity and relatively small slide, but speed limit is lower.

Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used in heavy machine tools, high-power marine gearbox oil rig, vertical electrical machinery.
